It really does look good! Don't give up on your slippers, they will end up great. Did you already hear something of Rowan after the trouble with the pattern of Glade? They are bound to be lovely and warm too. If you had put rubber soles on them you could have even worn them to the pub ( when less sobre than usual you could just fall into bed wearing them!)
