I don't think this is the only example of Rowan "recycling" patterns. I know of a cabled sweater pattern in Jaeger Trinity that's been in two different Jaeger Pattern books! I imagine there are more, too. Like you say, it means the pattern is available when the original is OOP, but it's interesting to see it happening.

The sweater is gorgeous, BTW! :-)

Wow, that sweater looks great. I am always impressed with how speedy you are, and what a great finisher you are.

Oh I really like that and I'm sure my husband would too. I would also have been a bit miffed at the yarn shortage! If you want the sleeves a wee bit longer, you could add a bit to the cuffs. Should be able to be done without showing.

Hi Sharon

It actually took me 10 days to make - beginning to end. I was still fighting off the flu and being waited on by Ben so really I was just sleeping and knitting - easy to be fast when you're not doing much else!

I had knit the entire back before I showed it to you in the first blog post!

My advice with your son and husband - don't force it but try making them jealous by making a jumper for another male close to you - use that Alpha male thing to your advantage!

Hi
I think the jumper looks great - but how do you manage to knit so fast? Did it really take you just four or five days, or had you been knitting it for a while before sharing it with us? Anyway, it looks like the sort of jumper I would enjoy making, unfortunately neither my husband or son will wear handknitted jumpers!
