I'd hate to have your journey to work each day. What a shame you missed Ally Pally too. I did keep my eyes peeled for you, but needle and haystack come to mind here! Get Knitted probably had loads of their stock in London, so if you'd gone there, the shelves may have been somewhat depleted, so that would have been like rubbing salt into the wound! Knitting in public is always quite amusing, I was knitting in the hairdressers yesterday while waiting for my highlights to take and got some interested/puzzled looks.
