Good to know that this is nice yarn – I was tempted by some in my local John Lewis a few weeks ago – I think I may go back for it now!

I bought some of the same yarn, possibly even the same colour (also in John Lewis!) to make a summer top – just something plain, I thought. I can’t wear wool near my skin, and bamboo feels so pleasant, although 100% bamboo is the spawn of the devil because it stretches so much. I had to bin a newly-finished cardi last summer because it stretched so much despite careful handling. It’s interesting to see how the colours come out when knitted, so thank you for showing us your sock. Happy commuting!

Ooh cool I’ve been looking for a decent high bamboo content sock yarn.
Yep I agree “happy” does sound rather irritating. It’s like the result of something that’s been badly translate from chinese.

I’ve bought a ball too – check out my blog for the colourway – and hopefully soon a photo of the socks, which are underway.

I bought a ball of that recently, too – and I think the same colourway! (Scorpio) I think I’m going to enjoy knitting with it, and wearing the socks. I might even buy some more for (fingerless?) gloves.
