Wow a full set! I don’t have ANYTHING like that. Nothing in my hat/scarf/gloves box matches.

Lovely! You are really fast. I don’t think I’d be able to get all that done in such a timely fashion. I’m still nerving myself up to knit gloves. I’m happy with fingerless mitts or even mittens for myself but the hubby wants gloves. Maybe by next winter I’ll have some made for him.

Great hat. I went running to my Patons Woolcraft (1977 edition) and found it, complete with family picture. Thanks! I didn’t know I had this pattern and Iove pull-on hats. It’s not obvious from their photograph that it is so well shaped although I suppose they always shaped their knitting in those days.
Your Knit Reports are excellent, good detail.

Beautiful combination of colours, they look so effective whether knitted up as a blanket or as the hat and scarf set, though I’m a little biased I just love mauves and purples they are my favourite colours.

Pop over and see the colour combination I’m knitting with at the moment…a little bit of a more spring inspired palette. fleurcotton.blogspot.com

After reading your blog and showing it to hubby, I think he would like a scarf like Ben’s! I have never knit anything on circular needles before, what size and length are used for the scarf pattern?

    Fab blog, by the way!

I just found your site from the Simply Knitting magazine. I love those colours in your scarf! Now I have scarf envy… and I adore how you put them into a complete set. My favourite thing though, is how you put the colour stripes into the hat and mitts to match – wonderfully done!

Very handy how you left a completed knitting report for your readers to get the details easily. What a great way to keep track of all your completed projects, especially when you label them like that. Thanks!
