I’ll Be Doing This Again!

So how did I get on with the Yak Shaving and the Different Lines Shawl???

First the Yak Shaving – We’ve had the furniture delivered and finally put the finishing touches to our Snug  – That Yak is now shaved!!

A little den to read and knit and chat in with friends…

Like it?

I’m so pleased how it has come together 😀 I’ve liked that bus picture for a long time – Especially as I work in London!

But enough of my DIY adventures, what about Different Lines??

Well she seems to go with that Denim Jacket she was intended for!

From Different lines

I would like to wear her over the jacket but she’s just a tiny bit too small for the tail to stay over my shoulder when I move – I think that when I make another, I’lll use slightly larger needles. My tension does seem tighter than the pattern picture. Doesn’t look bad though? (But I look so sombre!!)

And the obligatory side and back views. Love the way that lays over my shoulder…

And I do like just admiring it ( And giving me an excuse to show off my lovely rose cushion) 😉

And here’s the whole thing!

Very happy with this one 😀

PS Ziggy makes it very hard to write a blog post!

Ziggy is so pretty. Everything is better with a kitty!

    Your little Den looks lovely.

I love the pattern, Different Lines. Your colour combination is beautiful. Perfect with denim.

Love your den, and the rose cushion!

I have Colour Affection in my queue, and the yarn stashed to make two… I like Different Lines though. How did you get on with the short row shaping? In Colour Affection she says not to knit the wraps. Not sure how that would look?

I have a Ziggy look-alike sitting on my lap as I type! 😀

I love your shawl, I find myself being drawn to lots of Veera’s patterns. Ziggy obviously loves her new Mum. Flo sends her a big purr and wants to know if she’s got her own handknit blankie yet!!
