Those socks are going to be gorgeous! I tend to do fair isle in the round inside out so the floats go along the longer curved distance of the outside of the knitting, rather than the shorter distance of the inside of the knitting. It takes a little getting used to but it does work at keeping the floats looser.

Looks good, Susan! Interesting idea Stitched Together – like Susan my Fair Isle is also way tighter than my regular knitting.

Wow Susan, the socks are fab. Wish you well to wear them. As my Grandmother would say.

I’m so glad you are continuing to blog, I had an ‘oh no’ moment when I read that you were thing of finishing. Your work and writing are inspirational to a newly-returned-to-the-fold knitter
