Oh my!! I have two sons who I KNOW would LOVE that hoodie. maybe in different colours to match their personalities and style. I love the colours you chose and you are a very special knitter!
Please feel free to pop over to my blog. It's all about Shetland wool, Shetland lace and Fair Isle knitting, my little flock of sheep and other everyday things.

Hi
Have you ever thought about knitting top down garments? I have been knitting for years and always ended up with the same problem you have with Kim Hargreaves patterns. Once I had decided which pattern to do I spent endless hours deciding which size, how long the body, the sleeves etc and I was never 'over the moon' with my creations, then I discovered top down knitting and because you can try on and adjust as you go it takes the guess work out of measuring. Another massive plus for me was no sewing up! I wish I'd knitted this way years ago. A lot of the top designers don't write patterns that way yet but if we suggested it to them you never know.
Kind regards, Carol

I cannot thank you enough for posting this! A member of my knitting group had made this and I loved it. She told me it was from Kniting Daily, but without a name for the design, I couldn't find it. I can put it on my queue of things to make. Looks like a great stash buster!

I also agree with Stitched Together that KSH definitely isn't a beginner's yarn - it is a single use yarn, so if you make a msitake you can't rip it...

What a great idea to change the yarn. I think KSH is not a yarn for beginners. I made a scarf in the stuff only a few months after starting knitting. It took me forever to finish it and it was worth it but it did nearly destroy me!

And I thought I was the only person who didn't like variegated yarn! Tweed is as close as I can go to variegated. Perhaps it's reminds me of all the cotton tshirts I tie dyed when young. :)

Oh, joy! I look forward to many posts about your new kitties. Torties are great, and how nice that you got a mother-daughter pair so they can stay together. Ziggy's a great name for the multicolored-faced one. It's brave of you to knit with twine (sounds really hard on the hands), but it looks like it's holding up well.
