This is absolutely gorgeous, I love everything about it – the yarn, the colour, the fit… I’m adding it to my Ravelry queue right now!

Just love it, think it’s my fave of all your FOs to date. Actually, is that possible with the Earth Wrap, or Mary ? it’s a toughie. If I were a real knitter (ie. not just socks, blankets and scarves), I’d be on that pattern in a flash ! Thanks for sharing it on you blog.

PS. How are the fluffballs doing ? 5 blog posts and not a paw insight, lol

I loved your original Hildegard and immediately set out to locate the Jaeger leaflet when I saw it, which I did successfully. This silk version is beautiful, now I just need to decide what to knit mine with.

Susan, you must be a very patient knitter: I have decided to stick with knitting for children, as knitting for myself takes too long! Which brings me to this: I bought this pattern and yarn ages ago, and completed the front and one sleeve (second sleeve still on the needles) I don’t have the heart to bin it, and no charity shop will take it. As you’re a Hildegard fan, would you like it. You could either finish it as is or undo it and knit from scratch (my knitting isn’t bad, just slow) It’s the small size.
The colour is a lovely grey-blue, and there’s all the wool to complete it, and the needles
Let me know if you would like it donated!
