You’ve done it now! You’ve started the stampede! I’m off down there without delay……. I’m still not convinced that you’re not on the Sainsbury’s payroll though.

Oooo, now you have given me an idea for my next ceramics project, bet I can make this cheaper than sainsbury’s but it may not be quite (nowhere near) as good.

You sod! What an enabler you are! Hah! I had to go to Sainsbury of course after reading this. I turned the store upside down looking for it and finally after collaring a very rare sight (a member of staff) I was led to the hidey hole of these. I got one. I now wish I had bought several because its sitting on my desk right now full of coffee and is very nice!!!!!! Thank you for the tip (ps the shortbread did make it home with me haha)

You inspired me – I went off and bought one of these for myself to replace a favourite mug that got broken recently – I think it’s already my new favourite. Thanks for the idea!

That mug is everything a knitter wants! I don’t live in the UK, but am going to Edinburgh later this month. I cross my fingers that they still have it in Sainsbury then. Thanks for the info.

I’ve googled till my fingers bled, but can’t find one of these mugs anywhere online. Do you know the brand of the mug? Is there a mark on the bottom? I’d love to have one (or several!). I live in the USA, so no Sainsbury’s anywhere close.

Hi – have seen same lovely mug, 6 weeks on (am behind the times). I managed to get a few on 3 for 2 but having mentioned it on ravelry, they seem to be in short supply! Mine’s gone to FC for my stocking. Can’t wait to start using it. Looks like it needs some hot chocolate in it if you ask me!
