That was brave, are you going to keep it up? I knit on the bus, in the car and when I was working I’d knit during really boring office meetings but never whilst walking about. Incidentally I’m retired and still don’t have enough knitting time.

Definitely good exercise for your ‘core’ muscles – I achieve this by not holding the handles on the cross trainer!

    Hi Susan,

I can’t believing you’re doing all this knitting whilst walking! I can just imagine the look on people’s faces. But hey, if it works, why not!!

I kinda miss you around here…chatting and talking about what you’re doing at the moment. I like listening to you about your current projects. Thanks for sharing this blog at least I know where to find you.

    Regards,

    Michelle

I used to sew on the Tube – found scissors were very handy once when an udesirable started touching me up. Oh to have had knitting needles to hand instead! I’m loving the whoile story about your blanket – still haven’t cast mine on. (Oh, and I live 2 mins walk away from my work, so no commuting knitting for me sadly!)
