At least the extra firm blocking means longer turned up brim. This means warmer ears!

hey… lucky Ben 🙂 It blocked really nicely… though I have to admit I quite fancied seeing the pointy version modelled 😉

Ha ha, I can just imagine him wearing the pointy version. Funny that, how he didn’t model it before it was blocked. It’s turned out rather nice though, I wish my hubby would wear a hat so that I’d have a reason to knit it. You should have popped in for a cuppa, I’m in Leeds.

Amazing how it blocked from a Pixie hat! I nearly made the same travel mistake as you this weekend. I was on a train that was splitting in half – half stopping in Cambridge and the other half going on to Ely. I managed to get in the wrong half, and had to do a mad sprint up the platform, knitting in tow!

You are a genius; blocking over a bowl! I knitted a hat last night and thought what can I use that is head-shaped to block it but could only think of (not head-shaped) plate. Duh. And may I say your house looks DIVINE already and I can’t wait to see the finished Knittery!
