Purcey is evidently a kitten with great taste, and I think it your duty to knit him a little something out of KSH!!! I rather like the sound of an icord maker. I shall await further news of yours – I’m thinking of edging a blanket in icord and your gadget sounds perfect.

I agree Rowan have done really well this season. It’s difficult to imagine wearing warm jumpers while it’s so warm but autumn is only a couple of moths away after all. The neckline is interesting – gives a sort of built in scarf effect and would look good under a coat I think. Not that we knitters are short of a scarf or two!

Good call Purcey. How did Susan ever manage to decide before you came along? You will be able to curl up unseen on her lap when she wears Vivaldi in Marmalade. x

I adore Marmalade, I think it’s my favourite KSH colour, along with Jelly. I do like some zing! It’s going to look great on you.

I agree that this is the best mag Rowan have done yet, and they have made some progress towards the modern knitting world with this issue, but I find it odd that along with the articles about knitting in the round and steeking, there are no projects in the book showcasing these techniques. Even the beautiful ‘Anatolia’ is knitted in sections and seamed. Still a way to go, Rowan.

Good colour choice, by the way, here in Germany orange is very popular!

I can see we’ll hit it off when we meet – my favourite colour is orange, I love anything fluffy and that pattern made my jaw drop. So beautiful. Can’t wait to see the finished item!
