OUCH!
I have had the stitches out of my poorly foot. 3 of the 5 stitches came out easily. The other 2 hurt like the nurse was pulling out old hairy rope 🙁
My eyes watered and I needed a tissue to dab at them…
…how about a knitted tissue?!
OK, OK an actual knitted tissue is one of the worst ideas ever for a knitted item! However, I couldn’t resist these from Kleenex!

The good news on the foot is that it’s healing well but more swollen and bruised than they would like – another week off work with my foot up 🙂
Pass the knitting and the TV remote….
…and those knitted tissues – there’s a weepy movie coming up!
You know you could copy that knitting tissue box with actual knitting and cover the box LOL

Sounds painful, at least you have a good excuse for doing lots of knitting!
You have my sympathy – when I had a bunion fixed I also had a toe ‘pinned’ and when they pulled the pin out it felt like my whole foot was going with it, then the doctor said ‘that doesn’t usually hurt’!! – I don’t suppose it would from where he was sitting…..

I saw those tissues in the supermarket the other day and was pretty amused… Especially when my (non-knitter) boyfriend saw and said “hmmm, nice cables”. Bless him, he’s picked up a crazy amount of knitting lingo 😉
Sorry to read about your foot – having stitches out is really no fun at all. Hope it all heals up really quickly.
