You must be wondering how Heligan is going….
She has been slow going – mainly because I’ve not had much knitting time – she is an awful lot of moss stitch!
I have finished knitting all the parts though 😀 She is currently laying on my dining room table having the bazillion ends tidied, neatened and tugged before snipping off.

I had carefully woven them in as I went hoping to minimise the effort – not sure if that gave the neatest of results.
This is the edge before I set to work “tidying”…

And this is after….

I don’t think I’ll ever get as neat as the edge with no loose ends 😕

It was only when I had the two sleeve on the table, side by side I noticed, horror of horrors, I had made a blunder 😯
Can you see?

Look at the purple….Yep, I had picked up the wrong colour for the Lilac 😥
I am so mad with myself! At least it’s just that top piece of the sleeve head I’ll have to undo.
I want to finish this and start my new projects!! Only one way that’s going to happen…rip, rip, rip…
Nooooooo! Oh how annoying. I don’t envy you at all. By the way my friend Jennie was at Ally Pally this weekend and just brought round her trophies. She also bought the dress kit, so I got to smoosh the gorgeous yarn. It is soooo soft. I am ridiculously jealous of you both now.
Oh what a complete pain! At least it’s only a small amount to frog and you noticed it before seaming!
How annoying :/ It looks like the jumper is going to be really great when finished though, so give up 🙂
Oh no !!! You are SOOOO going to enjoy wearing this once it’s finally finished, knowing what a labour of love (and strife) this project has been!!
Happy Frogging
