Oh that is a shame Susan, at least you can take it back though.
I am looking forward to seeing your creations throughout 2014.
I haven’t knitted anything for ages. I need to get back to it soon.
Happy New Year and keep the blogs coming I love reading them.

I’ve knit with Glamour and think you’ll find it knits better as a sport weight or dk weight, something more like 21-26 stitches to 4 inch depending what needle size and how dense or lightweight you want your fabric. To get 18 sts. per 4 in. you’ll have to use large needles and the fabric will be very airy. I loved it and knit it at 21 for a light dk weight. I’ll be curious to see what you make with it, good luck!

I snaffled a couple of balls of the glamour too with no real project in mind – other than it looks nice!!

I’ve knittted with KSH Glamour several times now, and in my opinion it is exactly as versatile as the original KSH. I can confirm that you can substitute one for the other with no problem whatsoever. The yarn feels rather different, but the gauge is the same.

I think also that the entry on Rav for this yarn as worsted weight was made in error – it seems to have now been corrected. If you look now, you’ll see that this yarn shows identical gauge information to KSH, 18 to 25 sts to 10cm on 2.75mm to 4mm needles. And the Rowan website shows the same, by the way.

So, I think you can breathe again! – and you don’t actually have to return any of it. Now, is that good or bad? πŸ˜‰
