Just a quickie post to show you a “silly” I made for a colleague at work.
He was having a huge fancy dress party for the Eurovision Song Contest and was dressing up as Agnetha from Abba (the blond one) He was missing a “Fabulous!”crochet cloche hat (complete with flower on the side) to complete the outfit. Like this famous one…
I volunteered….
Some leftover black Rowan Lurex Shimmer and some gold and silver Twilleys Goldfingering (“Goldfingering” got a smutty chortle in the office) and an improvised pattern, I created this….
(It’s a weird shape because I photographed it in a hurry at work with a notebook stuffed in it – sorry!)
I was especially pleased with myself for the flower too 😀
Such a fun little project !! I don’t often get a chance to make something wacky and glittery 😀
My colleague was thrilled and I am promised photos of the entire outfit…I’ll share if I get them 🙂

Hi Helen – I think I had linked the photos from an album that was visible to me only – should be ok now!
Let me know if it is indeed, splendid!
Susan
Oh yes, very ’70’s! I do hope you get a photo of the whole outfit!
Super sparkly hat! Looks very 70s 🙂
These little cloche hats are very on trend, especially at festivals. Fabulous.
