I have finally been forgiven for being a bad, unfaithful wife and knitting for another man.
How did Ben attain this state of nirvana?
It only took me to knitĀ a beautiful pair of socksĀ and me to finish his Drifter š
The finishing is timely – The weather here is still freezing and Ben has a horrible cold and needs to be kept warm.
Wanna see Ben modelling?
Here’s one with him looking a bit happier…
So how was it to knit? Once I had the 3 different cableĀ panelsĀ sorted out with my excel spreadsheet (described in “Jealous Boy Gets a Treat“) it was very easy. The sleeves had just one panel of cable up the centre of the arm and K3, P3 rib for the rest. Finishing was a breeze too – no buttonbands or neck to knit or edging to pick up – just a back, front and two sleeves to sew together š
Here a clearer shot of that sleeve cable…
And I guess I should show you the back too – the backĀ is identicalĀ to the front except the cable panel order is reversed. A,B,C one side C,B,A on the other. The big advantage is Ben doesn’t have to worry if he’s put it on the wrong way round!
So does Ben love me again now I have made him such aĀ snuglyĀ warm jumper?
I think so…but I think I might have let theĀ competition get their claws into him while he was feeling jealous šÆ

It looks amazing. Ben looks very snug and warm and has the knitwear model poses down pat. It really suits it.
Ben looks great in your creation and Ziggy seems to like the feel of it as well. Another fabulous knitting project completed. Well done Susan.
