You know when you see a yarn and think, “Oh, I love those colours!”. I thought that with Bergère de France’s “Goomy 50” in Jaun (Yellow!) Goomy is their take on self patterning sock yarn (but why the heck would they call a yarn an ugly name like “Goomy”?!)
This was the yarn…
This was never going to be an exciting project so I did my usual plain Regia Sock pattern that I use for mindless travelling knitting.
I do wear these socks all winter in my boots!!
These came out really well! I’ve not washed and worn them yet but I have high hope this will be a new fave sock yarn…(I have the pink in stash already) **whistle**

Err, the page seems to have loaded ok but I see no pics, technical issues?
Hi ProlificProjectStarter Indeed there was a technical issue – hopefully fixed now! I’d appriciate if you could let me know if the photos are now loading for you?
I’ve used Google photos and the “old” picasa interface for years but google are retiring Picasa and keep making changes – they seem to have removed some of the sharing options if you use the old Picasa uploader 🙁
This fossil is going to have to find a new method of uploading her photos 🙁 🙁
Thanks again for the heads up
Susan
Thanks – I couldn’t see pics either, but can now. Welcome back to blogging!
yes, I can see them now, in all their multicoloured socky glory. Worth the wait. 😉
Hi Susan, just came across your video on youtube and decided to follow you, I am also an avid knitter and found you very insperational. Mandy
