No, I don’t mean I have scoffed an entire box of chocolates! How could you think I was so greedy?!
I mean, I have finished the cardigan I named “Lovely Chocolate” – it was an inspired name because the pattern is called “Lovely” and the colour I made it in?? Yes , chocolate brown….
I showed it to you on the needles here –>> Lovely Chocolate
That was WAY back in February. It took me until July to finish it – a whopping 5 months. I did make most of my Red and Black MQW in that time too but that’s still a long time for me. Why so long? Because it’s detailed, on tiny, tiny needles and has a gazillion bobbles!
But was it worth the effort? OH Yes! I think so….Wanna see for yourself?
Gazing into the distance….
Here’s one where you can see the detail…
Look at all those bobbles…
The obligatory back view…
The cables do run up the centre of the back honest – I was wearing it a bit wonky!
I have a bit of a dorky, half asleep look on my face here…but a good shot of the cardigan…
WAKE UP, SUSAN!
Of course, no post is complete without a feline creeping into a shot – Here’s Kitty joining in while I was sitting!
Me? Photo-bombing?
And my current knitting? My Cyrene Jacket (also very dark browny/black) is storming along – the body is done – one last sleeve to go!
I must do something colourful next…

Looks just as good in the photos as it did in real life!
It looks great on you. Sadly it would not look that good on me, so I shall have to admire the beauty on your blog. It looks like it will be a really useful garment as well a lovely one.
