How fortunate that you were able to revisit New York to buy the exact same yarn. There is nothing quite like a favourite sweater. I love it that Kitty has your felted one as her bed. I just hope that Ziggy doesn’t get ‘bed-envy’ and drag your replacement into the washing machine!!

I’ve never knitted the same garment in the same yarn but I’m about to knit Susan Melville’s “a gray cardigan” for the 4th time. It is my go to practical cardigan pattern

We are stuck on that pattern! I am helping my friend knit this sweater, thought it would be easy for her but it has been a struggle. Right now we are nearly done…SHAPE SHOULDERS AND BACK NECK. Rows 1-4 of short rows are done. We are ready to do ROUND 1 but where is the correct starting area? Right now we are about 12 sts from the line going up the right hand side shoulder heading to the middle of the back. Is this the correct starting point?? No where near the true beginning point of her rounds. HELP!!!!
